Welcome to Aura (“we”, “us”, or “our”). We operate the Aura mobile application and website at auraanonymous.com(collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. By using Aura, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Aura is built on anonymity. When you send a compliment to another user:

• Your identity as the sender is never disclosed to the recipient.
• We do not store sender-to-recipient identity mappings in any user-accessible way.
• Limited metadata (such as timestamps and content moderation flags) may be retained internally to enforce our community guidelines and prevent abuse.

We are committed to maintaining the integrity of anonymous interactions as a core feature of our Service.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Create and manage your account
• Enable anonymous compliment delivery between users
• Monitor and enforce community guidelines and prevent abuse
• Send you service-related notifications (e.g., new compliments received)
• Analyse usage patterns to improve app performance and features
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for targeted advertising purposes.

We may share your information with:

You can delete your account at any time from within the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account.

The Aura Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or by email prior to the change becoming effective. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
